Stampin' Up! comes to Ipswich!

On Tuesday evening the Stampin Up! Creative Tour kicked off in little old Ipswich!  It was an amazing night with over fifty demo's from all over East Anglia attending.  We are so used to traveling miles to attend any Stampin' Up! events that it was a real treat for us.  We were the first locations to fill places so fingers crossed that this region maybe consider for future events :-)  

 

I don't want to spoil things for anyone who maybe going to other locations BUT I can tell you that we got to see some fabulous projects!  There were prizes, giveaways and some exciting news about what is coming our way very soon :-)  I also got to see lots of lovely friends that I have made since joining Stampin' Up! 

 

I thought you might like to see some of the amazing swaps I got too :-)

 

I will start with my swaps which were these little containers made from the In Colour Designer Paper Collection.

I am back to share another project from the training evening I co-hosted last week.  This card was designed using the Six Sided Sampler stamp set.

The coordinating Hexagon Punch makes it so simple to create these gorgeous patterns. You can buy the stamp set and punch as a bundle for just £29.25 in clear or £33.50 in wood.  That's a 15% saving!

Here is an enhanced version created by adding a few extra elements.

Team Training

On Thursday I spent a brilliant evening with nine other local demonstrators at our "Team Training" evening.   I organise these events along with another local demonstrator Becki at Pennikkity Pots in Ipswich Town centre.  They a brilliant chance for ANY demonstrators local to Ipswich to meet, craft and share projects.  

One of the things I love about these evenings (and most Stampin' Up! events) is that everyone brings along a project to swap with others.  

Here is what I designed to swap with everyone.

These bright and cheery tags are designed around the very pretty 

Gingham Garden Suite.

I love the strips of coordinating Washi Tape along the bottom!  If you haven't tried these yet I would highly recommend them!  At £4.50 for three rolls they are great value for money but also so versatile and extremely easy to use.

The next Team Training evening is on Wednesday 4th December at 19:30 at Pennikkity Pots in Ipswich. These events are open to everyone, including local demos from any team or anyone who is thinking of joining and would like to find out more.
