Team Challenge

Our lovely upline Jenny sets our team a little challenge each month which we share on our downline blog.  This months challenge was to make a card with a different fold to the basic most of us tend to use. I opted for a fold I had never tried before and came up with this double step card.

I used the Vintage Vogue set and the gorgeous Beautiful Wings to decorate the Old Olive card using Melon Mambo and Razzleberry.

The lovely ladies in my team made some stunning cards. You can see Maria's entry here on her blog.

If you are in Ipswich tomorrow, pop along to Tower Ramparts between 11:00 and 15:00 and make a free Stampin' Up! family scrapbook page!

Hope to see you there xx

Springtime Event - Part 2!!

I am back after a week's holiday with part two of the Springtime event we held last month.  These are the projects that the ladies created using the Nursery Suite designer paper and the Itty Bitty stamp set which they all received in their goodie bags.

The first project was a Regal Rose gift box made from the NEW Scallop Envelope die and decorated with the lovely Four Frames stamp set.

The handle and the edges of the box were decorated with the Itty Bitty stamp set.  This little set is so versatile and also has matching punches and buttons too!

The second project was a pretty Accordion Bag inspired by the lovely Monica Gale.  You can't see in the picture but the bag has a handle made from the gorgeous new Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon.

The front of the bag was decorated using the striped designer paper from the Nursery Suite and the Itty Bitty buttons.  The great thing about these buttons is that they are clear, so you can punch out any coloured cardstock or patterned paper and make your own matching buttons!

The sides of the bag were made using patterned paper created with the Itty Bitty stamps.  The Whisper White paper was stamped in Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzazz ink then concertinaed so simple but very effective!

The final project was this gorgeous folder which the ladies absolutely loved!

Inside the folder was a set of decorated note cards and envelopes.

The front of the folder was decorated using the 'Take Note' stamp from the Notably Ornate set which was layered over patterned paper and finished with a Itty Bitty heart button.

The final project was a design challenge!  Each of the ladies was given a pack containing enough cardstock, designer paper and accessories to make two cards.  They then chose their favorite of the two to put forward for the chance to win a prize!  The ladies all done a great job and put forward some amazing cards!

The winner was Debs with her gorgeous daisy birthday card.  Well done Debs!!

A big thank you to everyone who came along, from the feedback I know that you all had a lovely time but I want you to know that we really loved having you there to share the day with us!

Look out for details of the next all day event soon!

Springtime Event!

Sorry For the lack of posts.  After a busy time with events and workshops I gave myself some time off to enjoy all this lovely weather.  Now that things have calmed down I can show you some of the gorgeous projects we have been creating :o)

We had a wonderful group of ladies come along for an all day springtime event!  We spent six lovely hours crafting chatting and eating cake!

On arrival all of the ladies were given a goodie bag which contained their kits for making 3 projects, a chocolate flower lolly, a vintage hand covered notebook (which they all loved!!) and their free Itty Bitty Stamp set!!

The display was loaded with gorgeous projects including lots of NEW products from the Mini Catalogue.  Some of these were received as swaps from other demonstrators so there were lots of different styles and techniques for the ladies to see.

These gorgeous pillow boxes were made using one of the new Big Shot dies! They look stunning when decorated! These were wrapped in designer paper and then decorated with the Big Shot Flower Daisies and Beautiful Wings.

Inside each box was a draw ticket with a guaranteed prize so none of our ladies went home empty handed!! The prizes included lots of goodies from the NEW Mini Catalogue. We had The NEW Seam binding Ribbon, Stamp Sets, Itty Bitty Buttons and the stunning new Glass Glitter!

As you can see everyone was happy with the prizes they got to take home!

Pop back to see the wonderful projects and cards the ladies created.

Mini Catalogue Blog Hop

Hello to everyone who has just joined me from Stampin Becks Craft  Hope you have enjoyed working your round everyone's blogs.

I have two projects to share with you today.  Both using the new Sweet Stitches designer paper, which is part of the Oh Sew Suite coordinating range.  The first is a 4x4 card decorated with a strip of DSP and uses one of Four Frames stamps.

The set is so versatile and comes with a matching Decorative Label Punch.  I have added a sentiment from the tiny tags set but these frames look just as wonderful decorated with a stamped image or a letter from one of the alphabet sets.

I have inked the stamp in Wild Wasabi, removed the ink from the flowers with a cotton bud and then coloured using my Rose Red ink pad and blender pen. So quick, easy and very affective.

How cute is this mini handbag!!  It is made with the same Sweet Sticthes designer paper but this use a contrasting piece to decorate the top and bottom of the bag.

These bags can be decorated any way you like but I have finished mine with four Chocolate Chip buttons cut from the Sweet Buttons Embosslits Die.  The die cuts six buttons in a variety of style and the detail is just amazing.  This is one of 18 exclusive dies to Stampin' Up! and prices start at just £4.50!!!

I will back with more Mini Catalogue projects so if you haven't already done so please click on the follow tab in the right hand sidebar >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
