More Christmas in July

I'm back today to share with you some more projects from our Christmas in July event.  As I mentioned yesterday I was asked by Monica to do one of the demo booths during this training session.  I decided to go with the theme of 'Christmas Candy' and make lots of lovely gifts using sweets, chocolate and cookies (what a chore hey! lol)

The first project is a cute little Advent Calendar created using sweet treat pouches filled with chocolate snowmen.

The pouches were made from a 3x3 piece of DSP from the Christmas Jingle Scrappin' Kit and decorated using the little stamps from Delightful Decorations set.  The heading has been cut using the Medium Sizzlits Die and embossed with the Perfect Polka Dot folder

These next projects would be perfect for little stocking fillers.

The little treat boxes are made using the exclusive Scallop Envelope Bigz Die and have been decorated with the self-adhesive die cuts from the Scrappin' Kit.

Chocolate bars wrapped in DSP and satin ribbon and then individual decorated and 'blinged up!'

These little boxes hold three chocolates and are Christmas variation on the Butterfly Boxes I made for my Mother's Day event.  The original idea came from my wonderful team mate Maria over at Goldcats Stamping Heaven

The sweet pouches are a larger version of what I used for the advent calendar but this time have been made using the Jolly Holiday DSP and decorated with the baubles from the Delightful Decorations set.

How cute are these little Christmas pudding cards???  I made the puddings using the circle and scallop punches and decorated with Little Leaves and Real Red berries.  They fit perfectly on a little mint chocolate.  The cards were finished with a little sentiment from Tiny Tags and of course, a touch of bling!

The final project I am going to share are these festive decorated jars (the large one was filled with cookies until me and my downline had a catch up last week!! lol)

The flowers were made from Cherry Cobbler cardstock and decorated with Basic Pearls.  The sentiment on the jars is from the Occasional Quotes hostess set and has been embossed in gold and silver.

I have to say a big thank you to everyone at the event for all the lovely comments and message about my display.  I hope some of these projects have inspired you and got you in the festive mood!

Pop back next week to find out more about my new Christmas Club!!

Christmas in July

I know it seems way too early to be thinking about Christmas but it came early for some of the Stampin' Up! demonstrators last week!!  I attended a training event with 40 lovely (and very talented) ladies & gent.

A big part of day is about 'swapping' projects with other people.  We each make several of the same Christmas themed projects and then swapped so we end up with a wonderful collection of projects and ideas to take home and share with our customers.

For my swaps I created these gift boxes, using the Pillow Box die and decorated with the Four Frames stamp set and matching punch.

During the day we then made these gorgeous projects designed by Monica and Bekka!!  There were lots of oooh's and aaaah's when we saw these!!

A lovely mini album

A gorgeous gift card holder

This cute little Santa Pillow Box!

And two stunning Christmas Cards!

Pop back tomorrow to see the 'Christmas Candy' projects I designed for one of the Demo Booths and to find out about how you can make all your own cards in time for Christmas!!

Notebook Class

Last week I held my monthly craft class at St Johns Church. This month’s project was to cover and decorate a notebook and matching pen.

The ladies had a choice of papers from Elegant Soiree, Vintage Vogue or Lap of Luxury. We had a variety from all three collections and the results were stunning!!

The ladies were so pleased with their gorgeous creations and everyone had such a great evening.

The next event will be a Crafternoon Tea on 20th August. If you would like to join us for a lovely afternoon of craft and cakes please get in touch. You can find more information on my events and classes page.
