Friendly Flowers

This gorgeous flower was a gift from my lovely friend and fellow demonstrator Becki.  Last week I went to see Becki and Alan in their lovely new home, complete with a new craft room!!

We spent the whole afternoon chatting and eating cake ... PERFECT!

Becki made this flower using the Flower, Daisies #2 die which can be ordered for £16.95.

This die has now gone to the top of my wish list!!

Thanks Becki xx

Big Shot Gift Boxes

This evening I had a group of lovely ladies join me in making these three gift boxes. All of them included one element using the fabulous Big Shot!!

The first was this cute little window box cased from one of my lovely team mates (Thanks Maria!) and was decorated using the gorgeous Beautiful Wings.

The second was a pretty little pillow box made using the Pillow Box die and decorated with Razzleberry Ribbon and the versatile Four Frames.

Last but not least we made this cute little Vintage Top Note box which was finished with a Sweet Button.

Thank you to all the ladies for coming along and making it such a lovely relaxed evening!

The next class is on Wednesday 29th June where we will be making a beautifully decorated journal.  Hope to see you there!

Team Challenge

Our lovely upline Jenny sets our team a little challenge each month which we share on our downline blog.  This months challenge was to make a card with a different fold to the basic most of us tend to use. I opted for a fold I had never tried before and came up with this double step card.

I used the Vintage Vogue set and the gorgeous Beautiful Wings to decorate the Old Olive card using Melon Mambo and Razzleberry.

The lovely ladies in my team made some stunning cards. You can see Maria's entry here on her blog.

If you are in Ipswich tomorrow, pop along to Tower Ramparts between 11:00 and 15:00 and make a free Stampin' Up! family scrapbook page!

Hope to see you there xx

Springtime Event - Part 2!!

I am back after a week's holiday with part two of the Springtime event we held last month.  These are the projects that the ladies created using the Nursery Suite designer paper and the Itty Bitty stamp set which they all received in their goodie bags.

The first project was a Regal Rose gift box made from the NEW Scallop Envelope die and decorated with the lovely Four Frames stamp set.

The handle and the edges of the box were decorated with the Itty Bitty stamp set.  This little set is so versatile and also has matching punches and buttons too!

The second project was a pretty Accordion Bag inspired by the lovely Monica Gale.  You can't see in the picture but the bag has a handle made from the gorgeous new Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon.

The front of the bag was decorated using the striped designer paper from the Nursery Suite and the Itty Bitty buttons.  The great thing about these buttons is that they are clear, so you can punch out any coloured cardstock or patterned paper and make your own matching buttons!

The sides of the bag were made using patterned paper created with the Itty Bitty stamps.  The Whisper White paper was stamped in Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzazz ink then concertinaed so simple but very effective!

The final project was this gorgeous folder which the ladies absolutely loved!

Inside the folder was a set of decorated note cards and envelopes.

The front of the folder was decorated using the 'Take Note' stamp from the Notably Ornate set which was layered over patterned paper and finished with a Itty Bitty heart button.

The final project was a design challenge!  Each of the ladies was given a pack containing enough cardstock, designer paper and accessories to make two cards.  They then chose their favorite of the two to put forward for the chance to win a prize!  The ladies all done a great job and put forward some amazing cards!

The winner was Debs with her gorgeous daisy birthday card.  Well done Debs!!

A big thank you to everyone who came along, from the feedback I know that you all had a lovely time but I want you to know that we really loved having you there to share the day with us!

Look out for details of the next all day event soon!
